What a Section I ESA is all about.

A Section I (Environmental Website Evaluation (ESA) identifies acknowledged environmental issues (RECs). RECs are potential or present environmental contamination liabilities. If RECs are recognized within the Section I ESA, then a sampling of soil, groundwater, floor water, soil fuel, or indoor air could also be essential to verify whether or not there was a launch of hazardous substances or petroleum merchandise. Such sampling stories are often known as a Section II environmental website evaluation.
